The Pocket Pal Tip is designed for targeted subgingival irrigation in patients with periodontal pocketing, supporting non-invasive disruption of subgingival biofilm and reduction of bacterial load in periodontal sites.
Constructed with a soft, flexible rubber cannula, the tip enables gentle insertion into periodontal pockets, delivering a low-pressure pulsating stream capable of reaching depths up to 6 mm. This facilitates effective flushing of bacteria, plaque, and debris from subgingival environments while minimizing the risk of soft tissue trauma.
The Pocket Pal Tip is also well-suited for the delivery of antimicrobial or therapeutic irrigation solutions, enhancing chemical plaque control when used as part of a comprehensive periodontal maintenance protocol. The flexible tip additionally provides a mild gingival stimulation effect, which may support localized circulation and tissue response.
Clinical Applications:
- Subgingival irrigation of periodontal pockets up to 6 mm
- Adjunctive care following scaling and root planing
- Maintenance therapy for patients with chronic periodontitis
- Delivery of antimicrobial or therapeutic irrigants
